Erin E. Ames

~~Erin E. Ames, 31, of Lockport passed away suddenly on Friday, June 2, 2017 after struggling with addiction. Born September 20, 1985 in Newfane, Erin was the daughter of Kristine E. (Brandenburg) and Douglas N. Ames. She loved cooking, drawing, and spending time with her daughters. Erin was kind and loving to all who knew her and was quick to lend a hand to all who were struggling with the disease of addiction. She was beautiful on the inside and out. She will be remembered as an amazing daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her loving parents; her cherished daughters, Carleigh Bull, Keirra and Callie McClain; her sister, Lisa (Jacob Vick) Ames; her maternal grandparents, Walter and Patricia Brandenburg; her paternal grandmother, Edith Ames; her beloved nieces, Abigail and Anna Vick; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Archie Ames and her Aunt Faith. Per Erin’s request, there will be no prior calling hours. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to her daughters would be greatly appreciated.
