Purcil E. Buzard

Mr. Purcil E. Buzard, of Medina, died on March 23, 2017. Mr. Buzard was born in Clarion, PA, May 2, 1935, a son of the late Joseph Arthur and Nellie Armetta (Stitt) Buzard. As a young man, he moved to the Orleans County area. He was employed by Genesee LeRoy Stone Corp., as an operating engineer, at the Clarendon quarry for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his fiancé, Donna L. Wolter; 4 children, Michael Buzard, Jay (Leslie) Buzard, Timothy (Christine Lowe) Buzard and Lauri Buzard; 4 step children, William (Julie) Wolter, Steven (Megan) Wolter, Diane Andrews and Michelle Golden; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charlie and Ralph Buzard; a sister, Junie; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Marsha Ann (VanOrden), a daughter, Virginia Cortez and 2 sons, David J. and James A. Buzard. Friends may call on Friday (11-1) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will be held at 1PM. Pastor Karen Tucker will officiate and interment will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
