Ronald Raymond "Buck" Smith

Mr. Ronald Raymond “Buck” Smith, of Medina, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Ron was born in Medina, May 18, 1961, a son of the late Robert and Emily (Kiser) Smith. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1981, he was employed as an overhead crane operator at Brunner’s in Medina. Ron was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and crafting with his wife, Dawn. Ron also enjoyed playing the drums in many local cover bands over the years. Survivors include his wife, Dawn (Eichner) Smith; his son, Travis Smith; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Smith and David (Cindy) Smith; his mother and father in-law, Audrey (Haseley) and Robert Eichner; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Emily Smith, his sister, Mary Lou Smith and two brothers, Mike and Harold Smith.
