Mr. Angel Luis Gonzalez, of Albion, passed away on March 9, 2016 at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Mr. Gonzalez was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, July 29, 1940, a son of the late Cecilio and Josefina (Bermudez) Gonzalez. As a young man, he moved from Puerto Rico and was employed by Pettit Farms and in the winters, he harvested agricultural products in Vero Beach, Florida. Mr. Gonzalez was an avid Yankees fan, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved his old time cowboy movies.
Survivors include two biological daughters, Angela (Victor “Terry”) Doval and Terah Slack of Medina; 3 grandchildren, Alex, Julio and Carlos; a long time, good friend, Hector Fuentes.
A service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 3515 Galloway Road, Batavia.
