Deborah L. (Deyarmin) Sterrett, 63, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Medina, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on September 22, 1956 in Medina, to the late Richard and Lois (Waters) Deyarmin. Debi worked as a security guard for Lowe’s Corporate Headquarters in NC, where she retired. She enjoyed riding with her husband on his motorcycle, camping, trips to the mountains, working in the yard and loved spending time with her family.  Debi is survived by her husband of 14 years, Michael “Joe” Sterrett; daughter, Katherine Deyarmin; stepchildren, Jessica Sterrett and Michael Sterrett; siblings, Sheryl (late Duane) McKee, Regina Schunk, Darryl “Joe” (Jeannie) Deyarmin and Guy “Swany” (Trini) Deyarmin; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Aleiha, Jase, Emery and Addie; sister in-law, Kim; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Bruce Deyarmin. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will immediately follow at Bates Road Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity House, 110 Centre Church Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117.
