Diane M. Ogden

Diane M. Ogden, of Medina, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, July 20, 2024. 

Born February 1, 1955 in Medina, she was a daughter of Leonard and Helen (Sechowski) Burke. Diane graduated from Medina High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. On April 16, 1977 she married the love of her life, Daniel C. Ogden and the couple raised a family of four children. Diane worked for 20 years for the Medina Central School District, mainly in the Towne School cafeteria. Diane had a compassionate heart and was an animal lover. She was also very talented with arts and crafts and cherished her gardening. Diane loved her family passionately and adored her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Helen Burke; her husband, Daniel Ogden; four children, Deana (Kenneth) Tireman, Dorene Smithey, Danielle Ogden and Drew (Danika) Ogden; six grandchildren, Corin, Hailee, Kevin, Kenneth Jr., Bella and AJ; two great-grandchildren, Carmen and Isabelle; her three siblings, Ronald (Laura) Burke, James Burke and Elizabeth Phinney; and nephew, Nick Burke. Predeceased by her father, Leonard Burke and son in-law, Juston Smithey.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26 at 11AM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Future interment will be in the WNY National Cemetery.
