Kimberly J. Tillinghast

Kimberly J. Tillinghast, 62, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home after a long battle with cancer.

Born September 20, 1955 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of June Sharpe and the late George Smith. Kim was an amazing and loving woman. Her house was always open to anyone who needed a friend. She would make you a hot meal and a warm cup of coffee. She rarely held a grudge and was always open to talk and show her love. Kim always said that her grandsons were her life.

Kim is survived by her children, Juan Antonio Lyew, Justin Lyew and Dianna Perez; four grandchildren, Nicholas Pye, Bennett Hurt, Juan Andres Lyew and Adrian Antonio Lyew; and her mother, June Sharpe. Besides her father she was predeceased by two husbands, Rafael Perez and Joseph Tillinghast.

The Reverend Daniel J. Fawls will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Dec. 30th at 11AM at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 211 Eagle St., Medina, NY 14103.
