Lou Ann Lindsley

(Medina) Lou Ann Lindsley age 68, passed away July 26, 2024, at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. She was born, October 26, 1955 in Lyndonville, a daughter of the late Ronald and Meta (Swett) Dunn and had lived in this area all of her life.

Lou Ann was a member of Medina VFW Post #1483 Ladies Auxiliary where she also bartended for 30 years. She was also a member of the Butts-Clark American Legion Post #204 and a member and bartender for the Junior Wilson Sportsmen’s Club in Medina. In her younger years, Lou Ann bowled in a league. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, especially getting together for bar-b-ques.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Paul Sr; brothers Ronald Dunn Jr, Stanley Dunn and Larry Dunn.

She is survived by her long-time partner Kent Bane; children Paul (Gwen) Lindsley Jr, Sue Ann Flick, Marcy (Andrew) Lindsley, Andrea (Kenny) Lindsley, Jerry (Jess) Fitzsimmons Jr, Jeffrey (Gen) Fitzsimmons, Nicole Fitzsimmons; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Eloise Pielecha, Kathleen Martin, Juanita (Lee) Richards, Lois (Tom) Kallenbach; brother Bryon (Robin) Dunn as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday July 30th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Junior Wilson Sportsmen’s Club, 3875 Bates Rd., Medina NY 14103. In honor of Lou Ann, memorials may be made to your favorite Veterans Charity. Arrangements were entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, Medina NY.
