Martha A. Cassidy, of Medina, entered into rest on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born February 21, 1941 in Medina, Martha was a daughter of the late Vincent and Veronica (Cichocki) Stucko. A lifelong resident of Medina, she was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1958. On February 7, 1959 Martha married Francis L. “Butch” Cassidy at Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and upon its closing, Holy Trinity R.C. Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Medina. Martha worked in the Medina High School cafeteria, was a waitress at several local restaurants and also as a clerk at Garlock’s Office Supply. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and especially spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Francis “Butch” Cassidy; four children, Michael (Christine Ranallo) Cassidy, Colleen Clary, Patrick (Aimslee) Cassidy and Kelly (Steven) Kenward; seven grandchildren, Erin (Teddy) Telles, Dusten (Melissa) Kenward, Brittney (Steven Baker) Adkins, Tyler (Christy) Clary, Keith Clary, Colin (Kayla) Cassidy and Kaylee Cassidy; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Anne Lewandowski; brother, Vincent (Kathy) Stucko; and several nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes there will be no prior visitation. Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at a later date with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
