Robin B. Weddington

Robin B. Weddington, of Medina, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 following a brief illness at the age of 63.

Born on June 8, 1960 in Medina, Robin was a daughter of Beatrice A. (Prentice) and the late Norman J. DuBois. She was a graduate of Medina High School, Class of 1979. On October 22, 1983 she married Timothy Weddington. Robin worked for Bausch & Lomb in Rochester for many years and also for Washington Mutual in Albion. Lastly she was employed at Hinspergers Poly Industries in Medina. Robin had a passion for quilting, fishing and camping. She found solace and joy in creating beautiful quilts and spending time in nature. One of her greatest joys was spending unlimited time with her daughter and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. For the past several years, Robin had whole-heartedly and lovingly taken care of her four grandchildren, Roman, Liliana, Maxim and Zoe. Robin was a caring, wonderful and loving person who always put others before herself. Her kindness and generosity were unmatched, and she touched the lives of many.

Predeceased by her father, Norman in 2014; and her husband, Timothy Weddington in 2001; paternal grandparents, Roy and Joyce Prentice; and maternal grandparents, Jean and Ruth DuBois.

Survivors include her two daughters, Breyauna (Stan) Maksimchuk and Chelsea (Darla) Battaglia; mother, Beatrice DuBois; sister, Cynthia (Rob) Robinson; grandchildren, Roman, Liliana, Maxim and Zoe Maksimchuk; niece, Dyana Rollason (Krebs); nephew, Karl Krebs; and a great-nephew, Jakob Krebs.

Robin will be remembered as a kind-hearted and loving individual who made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family immediately following the burial for a luncheon gathering at her sister Cindy’s home, 3301 Bates Rd., Medina, NY 14103. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
