Roger L. Stinson

Roger L. Stinson, age 72, of Albion, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at his home.

Born July 10, 1951 in Medina, he was a son of the late Clifford L. and Thelma M. (Emery) Stinson. Roger grew up on his family dairy farm. He also went on to work as a mechanic. He married the love of his life, the former Linda M. Dewing on June 3, 1971. The couple marked their 52^nd anniversary this year by getting remarried this past June 3^rd. Roger was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his many fishing trips up to the 1000 Islands with family and his sons, who were his pride and joy.

In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his daughter, Casey Stinson in 1979; and two sisters in-law, Mary Ann Stinson and Jill Stinson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Stinson; children, Corie (Ken) Strickland, Cal (Terry) Stinson, Christopher (Brandy) Stinson and Clay (Tiffany) Stinson; grandchildren, Ace, Ariel, Ajai, Mercedes, CJ, Calista, Chase, Chloe, Dylan, Brooklyn, Josephine, Cole, Brayden and Aubrey; brothers, Royce Stinson and Robin Stinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Light of Victory Church, 47 Brown St., Albion. The Rev. Richard Allis will officiate.
