Ronald A. Hughes

(Penfield) Ronald A. Hughes age 64, passed away February 8, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born December 15, 1960, in Brockport, a son of the late Robert E. Sr. and Patricia (Hane) Hughes.

Ron loved drag racing and he owned and built his own race cars. He was very handy, remodeling his family home. Ron had recently retired from driving truck for many years.  He was a great brother to Robert and was an awesome friend to all, who would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Ron is survived by his brother Robert E. Hughes III; his uncle Ralph Hughes as well as many cousins and close friends.

The family will receive friends at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St. Medina, Friday February 14th 12:00pm-2:00pm where his Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery in the Spring.
