Yancy Jonathon Osher

Mr. Yancy J. Osher, of Medina, died on July 15, 2017 at the Unity Hospital of Rochester.

Mr. Osher was born in Newfane, October 15, 1965, a son of the late Joseph Napoleon and Gertrude Vera (Babcock) Osher.  On July 2, 1994, he married the former Diana Lynn Luthart.  He was employed by the Medina Central School District, as a custodian, in the Medina High School.  Yancy liked helping people, working on his 1973 Chevy Nova and spending time at the Medina Tim Horton’s enjoying a cup of coffee with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; 4 children, Shandra (Perry) Bethune, Rebekah, Rosalie and Robin Osher; his loving grandchildren whom he adored, Jocelyn, Peyton, Dakota, Jackson and Alyssa; siblings, Judie Hetrick, Darien Osher, Cecelia Henry, Mary (Mike) Skowron, Fred Osher, Joe (Sandy) Osher, Richard VerCrysse, Devona Demorst, Millie Osher and the late Eva; close friends, Kevin Peace, Arthur Kasperak, Jim VanderWoude, David Garel and the Tim Hortons Crew; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday (10-11) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina, where his funeral service will be held at 11AM.  Interment will be in Bates Road Cemetery.
