Matthew Lilly

Matthew Lilly, 28, of Medina passed on Thursday, August 17, 2017 after a long struggle with sobriety.

Matt was born June 15, 1989 in Medina, a son of Vasilios “Bill” Bitsas and Patricia “Gail” Blount. He attended Lyndonville High School. A talented carpenter, Matt worked various tiling, plumbing and roofing jobs in the area. He loved spending time with his family and adored his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed hunting, mudding and attending various concerts with family and friends. Matt was a funny, charming and charismatic young man and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his father, Bill (Frances) Bitsas; his mother, Gail (Allan) Blount; siblings, Crystal Conrad, Chris Bitsas, Jimmy Bitsas, Angie Groves, Alex Bitsas, Sarah Blount, Cody Blount, Brandon Carpenter, Erica Miller and Mindy McVey.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from (6-8PM) and on Wednesday (10AM-12PM) at the Grace Baptist Church, 120 Park Ave., Medina, where his funeral service will immediately follow at 12PM. Burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville. Arrangements were completed through Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
