Beverly DeBrine of Medina passed away at the Villages of Albion after a two year battle with Alzheimer’s disease with her daughters by her side.

Beverly was born November 2, 1926 to Lula and Henry Jones and grew up in the Ashwood area graduating from Lyndonville schools. She married Harold DeBrine in 1949 and together they raised their two daughters, first on Church Street and then in the home they built on Maple Ridge. Together they enjoyed camping, spending winters in Orange City Florida and activities with the Medina and Johnson Creek  seniors.  Beverly worked for 18 years in the cafeteria in the Medina school system retiring in 1980.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Harold in 2007, brothers Bob and Dick , brothers and sister in laws Ralph and Betty DeBrine, Alfred and Ann Whittleton and Edrice Barhite. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Casher and Cindy Wood, grandchildren Sean and Corey Casher and Jaimelyn Bator and great grandchildren,  Bradley Bator and a great-grandchild to be born in January 2018.

Per Beverly’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and a graveside service to be held Monday, September 11, at 11AM at Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to help end this cruel and debilitating disease at alz.org or Alzheimer’s Association- 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
