Courtney Nicole Kenward

Courtney N. Kenward, 27, of Medina, died suddenly at her home on November 12, 2017.

Courtney was born in Lockport, November 27, 1989, a daughter of Kevin R. Kenward and Catherine A. French.  A graduate of Medina High School, class of 2008, she went on to complete a Certified Nursing Assistant training program.  She worked at various jobs, including Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Associated Brands, Mayer Bros., Mark’s Pizzeria and the 3 Eyed Cat. Courtney was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medina.  She loved all animals, especially her cats, Chloe, Kitty, Baby Girl, Crowley and Simba. She was an avid fan of the series Supernatural. Courtney took a fond interest in tattoo artistry. Her calculated chaos was evident by her roots in her artistic nature. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, kayaking and going to the beach. She also loved music, going to concerts, watching thunderstorms and was a Buffalo Sabres fan. Courtney was a kind, generous and selfless girl, always willing to assist someone in need. Her vibrant smile emulated her colorful personality. 

Survivors include her father, Kevin; her mother, Catherine; twin siblings, Morgan R. and Mitchel K. Kenward; her maternal grandparents, Audrey and Ronald French, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lynda Higley and H. Richard Capen; her fiancé, Stephen Dollinger; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her uncle, Ronnie French, Jr.

Friends may call on Friday (4-7) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.  Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1355 West Avenue, Medina and interment will be in Boxwood Cemetery.
