Pat was employed as a corrections officer by New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYSDOCCS) at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and Albion Correctional Facility for thirty years retiring in 1990.  She loved her job and had many friends.  She was a longtime, active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Attica and Medina.  She served her church as a deacon and elder.  In retirement she enjoyed travelling with the Busy Buddies and their leader Janet Hedges and the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans and their leader, Lynn Marciszewski.  She had many great trips, fun and fellowship.  Pat was a member of Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Millie Wechter; seven nieces and nephews, Allison (Mark) Leto, Chris (John) Prusak, Scott Sardonicus, Tom Bathrick, David Bathrick, Wayne (Judy) Wechter, Mary Ellen Wechter; several great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Lester and Agnes; step mother, Arvilla; brother, Lester E. Wechter, Jr. and sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn E. and Robert M. Bathrick.  Pat loved her dogs, Toby, Lucky, Mitzie, Bridget, Dolly and Maggie and her cats, Frisky, Goldie and Buzzy
