Mr. William P. Feltz, of Medina, passed away on November 9, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in Medina, January 26, 1940, a son of the late Bernard W. and Jane Mary (Tuohey) Feltz. A lifelong resident of Medina, he was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1957. Bill was employed by the Medina Savings and Loan Association, as the executive vice president, for many years. He also worked for the William Knights Auction Company and Fisher-Price Toys. Active in the community, he was a supporter of the American Red Cross and was a longtime blood donor, volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 32 and was an umpire with the Medina Little League. He liked the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and was a supporter of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. He treasured time spent with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. He loved going for car rides and truly treasured vacations to Myrtle Beach, SC with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four children, Timothy (Mary) Feltz, DVM, Susan (William) Martin, David (Deborah) Feltz and Beth London; 7 grandchildren, Sean Feltz, Alissa (Brian) Dunham, Sarah (Mitch Hanssen) Martin, Benjamin (Rhiannon) Martin, Jessica (Michael Hymers) Annable, Madelin Feltz and Aaron Feltz; 3 great grandchildren, Margaret and Bradley Dunham and Caleb Martin; 3 step children, Tracy (Jill Jones) Callara, Jill (Mark) Weston and Brooke (Ralph) Duryea; 5 step grandchildren, Maya, Ayden and Annabelle Weston, and Connor and Adelyn Duryea; brother, Michael (Carol) Feltz; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Michael) Flower; brother-in-law, Ronald (Sandy) Viza; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Knights Kaderli Memorial Fund or Lee-Whedon Memorial Library.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brian Teng and the entire SICU staff at RGH, Dr. Celeste Stahl Balaban and Dr. Vincent Lee and the Medina Fire Department Ambulance and staff.
