Dianne M. Flick

Mrs. Dianne M. Flick, of the Town of Ridgeway, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2018 with her dogs in her lap.

Mrs. Flick was born in Medina, April 24, 1947, the daughter of the late George A. and Dorothy M. (Preston) Riches.  A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1965, she married Tom J. Flick on January 4, 1969.  Dianne was employed at Medina Memorial Hospital as a ward secretary and after taking time to raise her children she went back to work at Picture Island in Medina and then the Medina Memorial Hospital, in the medical records department, for over twenty five years.  She was a very active member of the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest in Knowlesville.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing and making blankets, gardening, canning, camping and shopping.

Survivors include her children, Glenda (Douglas Merle) Shervin, Robert (Sue) Flick, and Lisa (Brian) Boyle; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Donna Riches; lifelong friends, Nancy Smith and Dawn Sage; several nieces and nephews and her dogs, Ollie and Wrigley.  She was predeceased by her husband, Tom J. Flick, on March 5, 2017; her parents, George and Dorothy, and her brother, Melvin G. Riches, on March 18, 2013.

Dianne’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at 2PM at the Church of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship Hall- 3619 Knowlesville Road, Knowlesville.  The Reverend Marilyn J. Kasperek will officiate and interment will be in the spring, 2019 at Bates Road Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of the Abundant Harvest, 3622 Knowlesville Road, Knowlesville, NY  14479.
