Donald G. Evans

Donald G. Evans, 83, of Medina entered into rest on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born February 16, 1937 in Medina he was a son of the late George and Irene (Gardner) Evans. Don worked for Ed Williams gas station on Maple Ridge Rd. After many years he bought the station and was the owner operator of Don’s Sunoco Station. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting various things and also horse racing.

Beside his parents Don was predeceased by a brother, Leon Evans and sister, Betty Evans.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Flood; brother, Alonzo Evans; nephews, Gary Evans and Kenny Evans; a niece, Linda (Gary) Houseman; great-niece and nephew, Kyle Evans and Lisa Houseman; also several cousins.

A private graveside service will be held by the family in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Supportive Care of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
