Sharon A. Townsend

Sharon A. Townsend, with great sadness to family and friends, entered into rest on March 8, 2021. Many have been blessed by her loving kindness and frequent words of encouragement over the years. Her stubbornness got her through many difficult times throughout life.  We will miss her wild sense of humor and crab dip greatly.   Sharon left this life to join her mother, Helen Golden; brother, Patrick McMahon; son, John Townsend; and life partner, Richard Judge.  Her surviving family includes children, Lorie (Steven) Pawley, Charles Townsend and Stuart (Julie) Townsend; siblings, Arthur (Elissa) McMahon, Daniel McMahon, Kathaleen (Ron) Brodeur, Richard (Peg) Golden, Lorrene Schrieber, Peggy Golden and Paul (Joni) Golden; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition, her most beloved puppies, Sneakers and Precious, will also greatly miss her. A private memorial and graveside service will be held in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
