Daniel L. Hess

Daniel Lee Hess, 83, passed away on September 1, 2016 in Virginia Beach, VA. Mr. Hess was a native of Knowlesville, NY and has lived in the Tidewater, VA area for most of his life. He was retired from the US Navy after 21 years of service. He also retired from Beach Ford after 25 years as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce L. Hess and by a son, George L. Hess. Dan is survived by his wife, Belva Hess of Virginia Beach; two sons, Jerry L. (Bert) Hess also of Virginia Beach and Dennis L. (Danyel) Hess of SC; a brother, Richard “Dick” Hess, Jr. and two granddaughters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside committal service on Thursday, September 8th at 2PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby. Military honors will be accorded by Lincoln Post #1483, V.F.W. and Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion.
