Mark Daniel Winters

Mr. Mark D. Winters, of Middleport, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2016 at the Erie County Medical Center surrounded by his family.. Mark was born in Albion, December 22, 1962, a son of the late Daniel and Nancy (Whalen) Winters. He was self employed as a auto body repairman in his collision shop before ill health forced him to give up working on cars. Mark will be remembered as a loyal husband and the best dad. He loved animals, especially cats, was an avid fisherman and particiapated in many fishing derbies. Suvivors include his wife, Anita; 2 daughters, Melissa (Kenny Ortiz) Winters, and Holly (Paul) Dunn; 6 grandchildren, Damien Winters, Nathan Dunn, Angela Ortiz, Jake Dunn, Darren Dunn and Rosa Ortiz; 2 sisters, Colleen Slack and Tracey (Buddy) Arnett; 2 brothers, Guy Owen Winters and Joseph Winters; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Nancy; his sister, Jackie Winters and 2 grandchildren, Jenna and Mark Dunn. Friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life service where memories will be shared on Wednesday at 11AM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina. Memorials may be made to his wife, Anita.
